RE: Haley's Next Single/Video???? Thoughts?
I love the whole album, I can be pretty picky on what I BELIEVE would be the best single, but that doesn't mean that I'm right, LOL.
Seems like the most popular opinion would to be making "Listen" a single, I've seen a lot of good feedback from fans young and old, casual fans who aren't the biggest Haley fans but dig her voice seem to agree.
It's a "summer song", granted summer will be over in a month.
Better the single was released in April, 4 months ago. Right now would be the right time for a new single...but it doesn't seem like it's happening.
Behave and Good or Bad are probably my 2 favorites...but I don't know how radio friendly those are. Behave might be a little too slow for radio.
Good or Bad is a freakin UNDERRATED GEM and I feel only few understand it and feel that song the way I do. It's my personal favorite and I get so into it when it comes on, I have to listen to the whole thing no matter what. So that would be my personal pick, but again I don't think everyone likes it's arrangement as much as I do HAHA.
I'm not the biggest fan of Check Please's sound on the actual album. But performed LIVE, holy hell it's an amazing & catchy tune, and probably the catchiest most radio friendly type song left on the album.
Of course, singles don't have to be all about the radio, but that's how I look at it. Songs that are performed the best live, that are catchy & will get stuck in people's heads, and would be great songs to perform as a guest on TV shows and hopefully get airplay on the radio, that's what I would want.
