My 'rules of engagement' are pretty clear...I've thought about it a few times after getting to know 'of' the family, initially. (Overthinkers are like this

)
My rules are basically "Que Sera, Sera", whatever happens will happen... I want to show them/her support and enthusiasm but not to the point they might consider 'looking out for security' or avoiding me. It is enough that they are accessable and appreciative of their fans and continue being the people they are.
I think that has served me well that I can continue to share my enthusiasm for Haley with the family.
I love how open and honest they are, and would hate to be that 'one crazy fan' that causes them to stop being who they are. I really respect them too much to. Seriously, can you imagine if you were Haley in Carnegie Hall, and this crazy fan in front of you keeps looking back and asking for this or that? Ruining a big night for you? UGH.... I won't be that person.
So the name of the game is "Respect"... I support and enjoy her growth as a person and entertainer.
Also, this "Haley Trifecta" I've been on, meeting other Haliens...I had made my mind up that I was going to go in with no pre conceived notions, what I deserve, what I expect. I was just going to see where the trip takes me good or bad.
That mind set made me look at the fact I got to see Haley in an intimate setting and not get annoyed she only sang 3 songs after I traveled 300 miles to Spokane....didn't matter...meeting her and hearing her sing live was what mattered.
Que Sera Sera....go where the wind takes you...and amazingly, that philosophy has served me really well during this entire Odyssey, courtesy of Haley and the Reinharts

(I did get to hear alot of laughter with that wonderful voice of hers behind me though, which is priceless

)
